Wizkid Reveals Where He Invests His Money

In a very interesting interview with Encomium, Wizkid opened up on very important issues. READ excerpts below…

Asked if it bothers him that people think he ’ s arrogant , Wizkid said ;

" Bother me ? Never ! I am not bothered . Honestly I don ’t hear people saying it because anytime I go out , I show my fans great
love. I do my thing . I don ’t have problem with that because I don ’t love everybody as well. So I don ’t expect everybody to love
me too . That’s life“

Asked if he is terrible person , Wizkid said;

“ Terrible? Everyone has opinion about people . But when they say Wizkid is terrible , you need to ask them , “ Why is Wizkid a
terrible person ? What did he do ? For four years, I was making music with Samklef , everyone knew his house . I was going up
and down, shouting , Samklef Nor Ni. That’s me , I am just trying to be a good person . Whereas everyone cannot like you and
everyone cannot hate you ” he said .

Asked if fame has in anyway changed him , Wizkid said

“ No, fame has not changed Wizkid . The only thing fame has changed in Wizkid is that I added some accessories . I have got
nice chains , watches , and nice clothes. Asides that , I am still Wizkid . I no tall , still same height“

He also reacted to his recent controversy with singer Saeon ,

“ Oh really? She ’s bitter about it . I didn ’t see the allegation but I gave her hit song. I no try? I did my part . I was in the studio
with her , gave her hit song. I no try. That’s not even how much I charge for collaboration, I charge N10 million . I collected N 1 . 5
million from her because of love. I was busy , I didn ’t want to do it ” he said .

Asked about the comment that he doesn ’ t charge those he loves, Wizkid said ;

" Yeah I don ’t charge people I love. I said so but when someone is on your neck everyday for a collaboration and she offers you
money , won ’t you collect it ? If you fail to collect it , they start calling you terrible person . I am just trying to be a good guy“

On his fashion sense, Wizkid said;

'' Fresh ! Am I not looking fresh ? I have always loved chains a lot . For me , I also see chains as investment because they are gold
and diamond. You can always sell anything gold and diamond. It is like an investment for me “.

On why he loves to flaunt his accessories on social media , Wizkid said ;

"You know now . I didn ’t have accessories when I started my career . Did you see me wearing bling - bling when I did Hola at
your boi ? No! I hustled to get money to buy them and there is no crime if I show it or flaunt it to my fans because they gave me
money to buy them ” he said

On where he invests his money , Wizkid said ;

" I will say property but most importantly jewelry. Do you know how much I can sell this chain on my neck when I get broke , God
forbid? It’s money and to me it ’ s investment. I don ’t spend money on foolish things . I spend moderately . Besides I am a grown
man . I have problems too . I have a child I am taking care of . I have responsibilities , believe it or not “

Asked if he is expecting another child , Wizkid said;

" Expecting wetin? Did I tell you I am expecting a child ? Yes I didn ’t tell you guys when I was expecting my first child because
people wanted to kill me but Honestly , nothing like that I am not expecting any child now“

Asked if he is getting married anytime soon , Wizkid hissed and said “ Wedding ? No! “

According to the MailOnline's transfer guru Simon Jones, 'Everton have rejected
Chelsea's latest £25million bid for John Stones'. The England defender was apparently
informed of this latest development on Tuesday.

ARSENAL TO PAY BIG FOR REUS?

The Daily Mirror claimed this morning that Tottenham are interested in Ashley Young and now the Manchester
Evening News has gone further and claimed that United 'could let Young leave this summer if they receive a suitable
offer'.
They also claim that Aston Villa are also interested in taking Young back to the Midlands.
REAL RETURN FOR DE GEA
Real Madrid have reportedly reopened negotiations with Manchester United over David de Gea and may complete a
deal in the coming days. De Gea has long been expected to join Real this summer but started for United against
Barcelona over the weekend amid reports the Spanish club would wait to sign him in 12 months' time.
However, Real have now seemingly renewed their efforts to land the goalkeeper after Sergio Ramos decided to stay
at the Bernabeu, ending United's hopes of insisting on the defender being part of a deal for De Gea.
Marca claims the Red Devils have therefore agreed to sell the 24-year-old providing their asking price of 40million
euros (£28.3million) is met.
JUVE TURN TO NASRI
Juventus did appear to be on the verge of signing Julian Draxler from Schalke, but Italian reports suggest that the
Old Lady is reluctant to pay the full £22m for a player they value closer to £15m.
So who will they target instead? Manchester City's Samir Nasri or Real Madrid's Isco, it says here. Don't they know
that Isco will cost them at least £25m?
BARCELONA WANT XV
We have already seen a 'Brendan Rodgers braced for second Barcelona raid for Liverpool star' on the Daily Star
website. The star in question? Alberto Moreno. The report in question? Mundo Deportivo's claim that the left-back is
on a shortlong list of players wanted by the Spanish champions.
The newspaper comes up with a list of 15 names which also includes such Premier League 'stars' as Jan

"Thomas Muller is my desired player number one," were the words apparently said by Louis van Gaal to Edward
Woodward. That's according to German publication SportBild, who claim that Manchester United could pay the full
£70.7m for Muller.
But what's this? Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says: "I have the feeling that Thomas is at Bayern for
life and will never leave. When Thomas one day ends his playing career, we would like to integrate him into the club in
another role. He is totally comfortable in Munich. I do not think that our fans have to worry."

LIVERPOOL MOVE FOR ILLARRAMENDI
According to Marca, Liverpool have made an offer for Real Madrid midfielder Asier Illarramendi. But don't get excited
Liverpool fans, neither club nor player is said to be interested. Yet.
Illarramendi started only ten La Liga games last season but is apparently holding out hope that new boss Rafa
Benitez sees him as some kind of Xabi Alonso-type figure who will carry out his detailed instructions to the letter. If
that plan fails, he might be available by the end of August.
ARSENAL IN FOR BUSQUETS
Oh hey there Arsenal fans, skipped breakfast this morning? Well then why don't you come here to feast on some

Spanish newspaper Sport claims that Arsenal have made Barcelona's Sergio Busquets their No. 1 target this
summer, and that the player might even want a move. We've stopped laughing for long enough to translate their

EVERTON WANT HALILOVIC
The future of Barcelona's Alen Halilovic has been discussed in detail over the last few days. Barca are clearly
prepared to loan out the 19-year-old to get him some meaningful first-team experience, with West Ham thought to
be at the front of the queue. The Slaven Bilic connection seemed to make sense.
Mundo Deportivo now report that Everton have joined the race to sign Halilovic, although they mention that it could
be a €10m permanent deal rather than a loan. We'd be very surprised if that happened.
The most likely solution would be a season-long loan to Everton. Let's just hope he can play in central defence.
YOUNG AND HERNANDEZ TO SPURS
Back to England now, and straight to the Daily Mirror. They claim that Crystal Palace's refusal to budge from a £25m
asking price for Yannick Bolasie will force Tottenham to pursue other options. The most obvious alternative seems to
be Ashley Young.
Young was excellent last season for Manchester United, but is now 30. It looks like United's hierarchy aren't prepared
to give him the two-year deal on £120,000 per week that he would like. As we wrote here , that's fully
understandable. If Spurs can offer Young first-team football, why wouldn't he go?
Spurs' ferreting around in the Old Trafford cupboard isn't finished there. The Mirror also report that Emmanuel
Adebayor's exit will allow them to step up their interest in Javier Hernandez. That's all very well, but Louis van Gaal
surely isn't going to let a striker leave unless one comes in.

NA WA!!! Man Dies After Drinking 20 Sachets Of Gin In N500 Bet

A middle-aged man, identified as Chucks from Imo State, has died after consuming 20 sachets of gin in a N500
bet with a woman.
The deceased, said to be a barber, is married with a child and lived along Ngwa Road area of Aba, Abia State.
An eyewitness said the deceased had on the fateful day, gone to a nearby local shop situated within the area to take a
sachet of his usual brand of gin and boosted to the shop owner that he could finish 20 sachets of the drink.
This was said to have led to an argument between the deceased and the shop owner and other customers in the shop
that morning.
The argument, it was learned, reached a stage where the deceased deposited N500 and the shop owner also placed her
own N500 in a bet.
The deceased was then provided with the sachet drinks for consumption.
It was gathered that he successfully consumed the 20 sachets of dry gin and went away with the bet money.
The deceased was said to have left his barbing salon earlier that day to his house when he started feeling some pains
in his stomach and asked his wife to put on their sitting room ceiling fan and sat directly beneath it.
When his condition got worse, his wife asked him what the problem was.
A source said the deceased told his wife he was okay, but just needed rest.

After a failed attempt to install a satanic 10 commandment monument in Oklahoma, a group of satanists have successfully carved a golden sculpture of Baphomet in Detroit unchallenged.
The ugly satanic sculpture with a man’s body and a goat’s head has beside it a young girl and boy who pose in adoration on both sides.
While unveiling the sculpture of the horrible beast, Satanists cheered:”Hail Satan” as many fanatics rushed to the scene to snap photos with it.
The successful installation of this satanic sculpture has sparked outrage among Christians in Detroit.
Christian protesters took to the streets of Detroit, shouting Blood of Jesus to denounce the occultic symbol that has just been installed in a secret location in the city.
The location of the winged Baphomet sculpture was unveiled at the last moment to Satanists and supporters who bought ticket to witness the unveiling ceremony that held at an industrial complex near Detroit River on Saturday the 25th of July 2015.

As we all await the widely anticipated collaboration between Wizkid and Davido after years of perceived rivalry, the two stars will once again go head-to-head in two award categories in the coming weeks.
Organisers of the annual Africa Muzik Magazine Awards recently released nominations for the 2015 edition and Davido and Wizkid were nominated against one another in 2 categories.
The two will battle for the Best Male West Africa as well as the Artiste of the Year award which also has Flavour, Diamond Platnumz, Yemi Alade , Cassper Nyovest , Bucie , Sarkodie , Fally Ipupa and Eddy Kenzo .
Davido recently beat Wizkid to the Best Male Act award at the recently held MAMA in South Africa.

WWE Terminates Hulk Hogan’s Contract

WWE has confirmed that it has terminated Hulk Hogan’s contract. His name has also been erased from their website.
The statement reads:
“WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to
embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.”
The WWE would not comment as to the reason it booted Hogan, but according to multiple report, the wrestler was kicked out for comments he made during a 2012 radio interview in which he says the N-word.
Hogan has also been mostly erased from the company’s website. When you search for Hogan on the WWE website, he is no longer listed on the WWE Hall of Fame page and all of his merchandise has been removed from the WWE shop.

Kevin De Bruyne is a lovely player, of that there is no doubt. However, there must come
a point when Manchester City turn round and say "Actually, Wolfsburg, you just keep
adding £10m onto the price so we're probably going to leave it. Nice kit, though."
City seemed to start the bidding at £30m for a player who Chelsea sold for £18m in
January 2014. The asking price then seemed to rise to £40m and then £50m. The Daily
Mirror now claim City might have to pay a British record £60m for the Belgian. That's a
lot of money, maths fans. Almost double the amount Eden Hazard cost Chelsea, in fact.
What's more, the Mirror say that City are prepared to pay that £60m, which is big balls.
Dropping £100m on two players in two weeks would be some statement of intent.
DI MARIA IS LEAVING
Three words. Three little words. Three little words that make us a bit sad. Not only did Angel Di Maria not work out at
Manchester United, he never even came close.
Obviously having his house broken into was a horrible ordeal, but the way in which Di Maria has looked almost
entirely unarsed has been one of the most obvious footballing disappointments in the past year. The Daily Mirror
report a source 'close to negotiations' who claims Di Maria will not play for Untied again, and that comes as no
surprise.
Still, it's hard to shake the feeling that Di Maria will go to Paris and tear it up. The little Paris Angel.
SZCZESNY TO ROMA
To the Guardian now, who report that Roma have agreed a deal to loan Wojciech Szczesny from Arsenal. The big
news is that they would then have an option to buy him for £3.5m, which seems a good deal to us.
Despite Arsenal supporters continuously insisting that Szczesny will come good, it seems that Arsene Wenger has
lost patience with his goalkeeper. The initial expectation was that it would David Ospina sacrificed (not literally), but
that now appears unlikely.
The good news for Szczesny is that smoking footballers are a lot more commonplace in Italy.
