Talk about having the guts to be honest in the eyes of the ever judgemental public… Dr SID in a recent interview opened up on his most expensive acquisition – his Lekki home which he says costs N110m. Speaking sincerely about the property, the Mavin Records Pop artiste says he hasn’t finished paying up for the crib but has a mortgage in place. ‘I put a mortgage payment plan in place, based on the savings I had made four years before I started a career in music. I am still paying for the house. And by the grace of God, I will get a second one soon‘, he told Jayne Augoye of Punch Newspaper. The ‘Surulere‘ singer also disclosed that his mortgage plan has him paying close to N1m every month and he intends to do that for the next 25 years. ‘I am not ashamed to say it‘, Dr SID adds.
