UNITED MAKE SECOND RAMOS BID
United aren't giving up on Sergio Ramos. AS claims the Red Devils have gone back to
Real Madrid with a second offer for the Spain defender.
After a £35million bid was rejected last week, United have upped their offer to £42.5million. According to various reports, United also want Ramos to go public with
his desire to leave Real in order to prove the club are not being used by the centre-half To secure a better deal at the Bernabeu.
VIDAL DEAL DONE
Arturo Vidal has already been sold to a "top European club", according to reports in Spain, with Arsenal most heavily linked with the Chilean.
Marca says Juventus have sanctioned an exit for Chile captain Vidal, but won't reveal his new club until after the Copa America.
A report in Italian publication La Stampa says Arsenal have been preparing a 30million euros bid, but Marca believe a deal has already been sealed, with details kept under wraps until after Chile's participation in the Copa America is over.
It had been claimed on Friday by Gazzetta dello Sport that Juve want Isco from Real Madrid, with Vidal possibly used
to fund a move for the Spanish midfielder.
DELPH A SNIP FOR CITY
The Daily Mirror reports that Manchester City could get their hands on Fabian Delph for a bargain price.
The midfielder signed a new long-term deal at Villa Park earlier this year but it is claimed a £10million clause was inserted into the contract.
That appeals to City, who have been on the lookout for a midfielder, preferably homegrown, which has seen them consistently linked with Arsenal's Jack Wilshere.
UNITED CLOSE ON SCHNEIDERLIN
Reports in France say Manchester United have won the race for Morgan Schneiderlin, who will sign a four-year deal at Old Trafford.
L'Equipe claims an agreement has been reached between United and the French midfielder, with negotiations continuing between the Red Devils and Southampton over a fee. The French newspaper believe an agreement is close, though, which would tie in with Schneiderlin's comments this week.
"The negotiations are ongoing and should be completed in the coming days," he told France Bleu Alsace radio station. "Hopefully before the resumption of [Southampton's pre-season] training next week."
SPURS RIVAL STOKE FOR MOSES
Spurs have opened talks with Victor Moses, who is expected to leave Chelsea this summer.
Moses has been on loan at Stoke, who are keen to make the deal permanent, but Spurs are now reported to have entered the race for the 24-year-old.
Moses has flattered to deceive since leaving Wigan for Chelsea three years ago. He failed to make the breakthrough at Stamford Bridge, before spending most of a loan period at Liverpool on the Anfield bench. The Nigerian scored four goals in 23 goals at the Britannia.
Mauricio Pochettino has turned to Moses, with Jay Rodriguez set to stay at Southampton and Anthony Martial having signed a new deal at Monaco.

ARSENAL NOT SELLING JACK
It doesn't matter how much Manchester City bid, Arsenal are not selling Jack Wilshere,
according to Sportsmail. They see him as a future Gunners captain and they are no
longer in a position where they have to sell their best players.
But 'Sportsmail understands City are undeterred by the Gunners' stance, believing, at the
right price, that Wilshere is obtainable'. Cheeky buggers.
RAMOS IN REAL TALK
According to almost every journalist in Spain, Real Madrid officials met with Sergio
Ramos on Wednesday morning at the club's Valdebebas training ground. But unless
they offered to double his salary, we seem to be heading towards a situation where Ramos will publicly declare his intention to leave.
According to Pete Jenson of the Mail: 'He is being advised to break that silence and make it clear to Real Madrid supporters that his argument is not with the club but with the man running it.'
According to Spanish newspaper AS, 'Ramos is understood to have asked the club to listen to offers for him.'
LIVERPOOL BID FOR KOVACIC (AGAIN)
We feel like we have been writing this very day for 427 days but reports in Italy (in this case SportMediaset) suggest that Liverpool have failed in a bid for Mateo Kovacic. It seems that Inter Milan will only sell for £21m.
The Evening Standard say: 'Sources in Italy claim Kovacic is in no rush to leave Inter but the Croatia playmaker would be open to a move to the Premier League if it becomes clear he is no longer wanted.'
POGBA TO WAIT FOR BARCA
Reports in Spain, from Mundo Deportivo specifically, say a deal has been agreed between Barcelona and Juventus for Paul Pogba.
It is claimed, though, that the midfielder will stay in Turin for one more year, with the switch taking place next summer, when Barca's transfer ban has been served.
The Spanish sports daily claims an agreement was reached during a meeting between the two clubs in Milan on Tuesday.
PREM CLUB'S KONOPLYANKA KO
Newcastle were linked with a move for Yevhen Konoplyanka in the morning papers, with Stoke cooling their interest due to the Ukraine winger's £100,000-a-week wage demands.
According to reports in Italy, Inter Milan are keen on taking the former Dnipro flyer to Serie A. Roberto Mancini are
intent on strengthening considerably this summer, with a deal for in-demand Geoffrey Kondogbia already done.
LEICESTER WANT NZONZI
Leicester are ready to table a £7million bid for Steven Nzonzi
The Stoke midfielder has one year left on his deal at the Britannia and has made no secret of his desire to play
European football. He has already been subject of failed £3million bid from Sevilla, but Leicester are ready to blow the Europa League winners out of the water, according to The Telegraph.
Not sure Leicester are quite what Nzonzi has in mind, but God loves a trier...
LIVERPOOL CAL AA
Liverpool are among a group of clubs to have approached Aymen Abdennour, according to the Monaco defender's
agent.
There is plenty of Premier League interest in the 25-year-old, but Abdennour's representative has named the Reds in
a group of clubs not at all plucked out of thin air as having registered their interest.
"There are lots of big clubs that are interested in Abdennour," Abdelkader Jilani said.
"There are clubs who have approached us and who will enter into contact with Monaco. There is AC Milan, Inter
Milan, Barcelona and Liverpool.
"I don't think that Monaco will prevent Aymen from leaving."
SCHWEINI IN, DI'MARIA OUT
It would be pretty much the best deal in the world ever. German newspaper Bild claim that Bayern and prepared to offer Bastian Schweinsteiger PLUS CASH for Angel Di Maria. Which would be just sodding brilliant.
Thus, we are choosing to ignore reports in Spanish newspaper Sport that Barcelona are keen on bringing Di Maria
back to La Liga. They claim that Di Maria is desperate to leave United and could be lured to Barcelona by his good
friend Lionel Messi. There's just the small matter of a transfer registration ban...
YOU WANT DE GEA? GIVE US RAMOS
'MANCHESTER United are ready to play hardball with Real Madrid and demand a straight swap deal involving David
de Gea and Sergio Ramos,' claims an 'exclusive' in the Daily Star. That would be pretty ballsy from United, with
around £20m difference in Madrid's valuations of the two players. But apparently, Old Trafford chief executive Ed
Woodward 'will not be bullied'. Like we said...ballsy.
Apparently United will make De Gea play the final year of his contract rather than selling him for just £20m. At 29,
Ramos has no sell-on value so United are understandably reluctant to pay £40m for a player who describes himself as "always relaxed". The suspicion still lingers that Ramos is simply flirting with United to get himself a new contract
at Real Madrid.
BEGOVIC FOR MOSES, MOSES NOT KEEN
The consensus seems to be that Chelsea want Asmir Begovic (for about £8m) and Stoke want Victor Moses on a
permanent deal, but The Guardian says there is a fly in the ointment: Moses does not fancy it.
Moses is 'understood to be unsure over a return to City and is instead considering a number of other options, both in
the Premier League and abroad'. Basically he thinks he's better than Stoke. We are inclined to disagree.

‘The Evil Ali Baba Did’ Comedian Bovi Shares With Us His Experiences With Ali Baba As He Clocks 50 Today
Comedian Ali Baba is 50 years today and several comedians have paid their tribute to him in various ways. Bovi also took to his Instagram page to talk about the first time he met Ali Baba, how his words of encouragement helped make him a star today and the EVIL thing he did.The piece entails how Ali Baba gave him a joke to do and went behind to give three other comedians.
‘THE EVIL ALI BABA DID. …. It’s @alibabagcfr 50th
birthday so I guess anything goes. Alibaba is not one
to shy away from encouraging you. He always sees
the cup as half full. Many of the classic jokes that are
evergreen in the minds of average Nigerians are
alibabas creations. Some have been retold in a
shameless manner by less creative forces and
audiences still laugh. Some have been refurbished and
improved upon. But the source of these materials are
still alibaba. Now this is where ali baba did wrong.
Ali baba once told me a joke. He said check out this
material. I died of laughter. I had barely finished
when he said “you can have it”. I froze in shock.
“Bros make I take am””?” He nodded with assurance.
I arrived the next comedy gig with an air. I had an ace
up my sleeve. I was going to bomb this show with my
new joke. The audience will die with laughter and they
will be buried with memories of the joke and their
remembrance will feature my picture and my voice. In
loving memory of the joke that Bovi killed the
audience with. I had barely finished planning this
obituary when I heard the audience already dying
with laughter. The comedian on stage was saying
something I had heard before. Wait, he was saying
my joke. My new joke. Where did he hear me say it?
But I hadn’t said it before. It was only a few minutes
before I discovered the distress in the face of two
other comedians. I thought it was something else
until the comedian came off the stage leaving a trail
of blood from an audience murdered with laughter.
He was confronted by three of us with “oh boy why
you crack my joke”. “Which joke?” We chorused
again.. “The last joke”. He retorted “but na my joke:
bros Ali naim give me”. And a mild argument ensued.
I quietly withdrew and went to rework my set.
Phew!!!!! I was deflated. In no time I confronted
alibaba. He laughed so hard, I couldn’t figure what
was funny. But that was until he spoke. “Make Una
dey wait make I dey write give Una. Which one me go
come talk if I dash out all, one by one”.i got d
message clearly. If you don’t create your own
material, the audience will kill you. From that day till
today when alibabas offers a joke, I run. And he
laughs’
And that’s not all, he also took time to share another one.
‘OCT 30th, 2005…. Around 10pm; alibaba walked up
to me and said “you’re funny. You should do
standup comedy. You’re funnier than many of the
guys already out there. You even funny pass
*************” . Well, it wasn’t until 2008 I chose to
make the very bold move. 3 years later. In those
three years I had had trouble sleeping each night I
watched other comedians. And his words echoed
repeatedly in my head. The night he saw me, it was
at an arts exhibition. The mc was doing a bad job.
There was an interlude. But there was nothing to fill
the space. So I grabbed the mic, blood rushing to my
head and started to blurt out the few jokes I knew. It
was the first audience in lagos I had ever faced as a
standup comedian (save for a private party in
December 2004). The audience stared at me, either
out of pity or curiosity. But not out of interest. The
jokes were funny but I wasn’t. However the
bespectacled alibaba looked on with his hand to his
chin and a permanent smile. He was the only source
of encouragement in this firing squad. Soon it was
over and just as the event rounded off and guests
made their way outside, he walked up to me and
said those words I will never forget . “You’re
funny….” Happy 50th birthday to @alibabagcfr .’

something I had heard before. Wait, he was saying
my joke. My new joke. Where did he hear me say it?
But I hadn’t said it before. It was only a few minutes
before I discovered the distress in the face of two
other comedians. I thought it was something else
until the comedian came off the stage leaving a trail
of blood from an audience murdered with laughter.
He was confronted by three of us with “oh boy why
you crack my joke”. “Which joke?” We chorused
again.. “The last joke”. He retorted “but na my joke:
bros Ali naim give me”. And a mild argument ensued.
I quietly withdrew and went to rework my set.
Phew!!!!! I was deflated. In no time I confronted
alibaba. He laughed so hard, I couldn’t figure what
was funny. But that was until he spoke. “Make Una
dey wait make I dey write give Una. Which one me go
come talk if I dash out all, one by one”.i got d
message clearly. If you don’t create your own
material, the audience will kill you. From that day till
today when alibabas offers a joke, I run. And he
laughs’
And that’s not all, he also took time to share another one.
‘OCT 30th, 2005…. Around 10pm; alibaba walked up
to me and said “you’re funny. You should do
standup comedy. You’re funnier than many of the
guys already out there. You even funny pass
*************” . Well, it wasn’t until 2008 I chose to
make the very bold move. 3 years later. In those
three years I had had trouble sleeping each night I
watched other comedians. And his words echoed
repeatedly in my head. The night he saw me, it was
at an arts exhibition. The mc was doing a bad job.
There was an interlude. But there was nothing to fill
the space. So I grabbed the mic, blood rushing to my
head and started to blurt out the few jokes I knew. It
was the first audience in lagos I had ever faced as a
standup comedian (save for a private party in
December 2004). The audience stared at me, either
out of pity or curiosity. But not out of interest. The
jokes were funny but I wasn’t. However the
bespectacled alibaba looked on with his hand to his
chin and a permanent smile. He was the only source
of encouragement in this firing squad. Soon it was
over and just as the event rounded off and guests
made their way outside, he walked up to me and
said those words I will never forget . “You’re
funny….” Happy 50th birthday to @alibabagcfr .’
Sport dice: Mikel 'wants to leave Chelsea'
It is understood the Nigeria international, who started 18 league games in the Londoners' championship-winning campaign, has been told he remains part of manager Jose Mourinho's future plans.
Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates are reportedly interested in signing Mikel, but there has been no comment from Chelsea who refuse to be drawn on speculation over any of their players.
The 28-year-old, who has been capped 64 times by his country, has made 22 appearances since moving to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2006.
Mikel's first-team action has been limited recently due to the form of Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas who played leading roles in Chelsea securing their first Premier League title in five years last season.
And the emergence of youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who is highly-rated by Mourinho, has also seen Mikel drop down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

Top 5 Hottest Songs Of 2015 (So Far)
We're almost at the mid-way point in 2015, and it’s fair time to look back over the past 6 months, and check out the 5 hottest tunes of 2015.
These are tunes that are hot, hitting the air waves viciously, and are bound to stay hot through the year.
5. Kiss Daniel – Woju Remix ft. Davido and Tiwa Savage
Even though we didn’t think a remix was needed, after a few spins it turned out, it wasn’t a bad move. The song had some extra spice (esp from  seems it took off from where the original left off.  With Kiss Daniel, Tiwa Savage, and Davido, the song will definitely still be buzzing well into 2015.
4. CDQ – Indomie Remix ft. Davido and Olamide
Another remix on here but this one took to the song to much greater heights than original did. CDQ linked up with Davido and Olamide to bring this silly but highly infectious tune especially for the dance floor. Say what you will about the tune, but once it comes on, it’s open season for some serious dancing.
3. Davido – Fans Mi ft. Meek Mill
Yes we know the song just came out, but when you’re breaking records for views for a Nigerian video on youtube, then you’re bound to be something serious through the year. Davido’s Fans Mi with Meek Mill has been the talk of music both locally and internationally over the past couple of weeks with big publications (Complex, and XXL) giving it thumbs up. It’s a hot tune in anyway
2. Olamide – Bobo
One day, Olamide will reveal what jazz he uses to guarantee that he has a super hit record every year. 2015 saw Olamide release this highly infectious tune, Bobo that has pretty much taken over the dance floor. Throw in the fact that it has its own dance also, and it’s very easy to see how this is easily one of the hottest songs of 2015.
1. Korede Bello – Godwin ft. Don Jazzy
Is there a better feel-good song out there than this? Released in January, Korede Bello’s Godwin has been the go to song for anything celebratory this year, and we’ll bet our last N10 that it’ll be that way till the end of the year. Everything about the song is top notch honestly, and with the video recently released, it’s given the song some extra ginger, and we’d expect that we’ll be seeing this all time of TV stations all over the continent.

Dropping Hints: Falcao Hints At Chelsea Move
Here is Falcao dropping subtle hints about his imminent move to Chelsea. If only he could drop this hint and score a goal.
The premier league champions are looking to snatch up the United flop, who scored only four goals in 29 appearances. It is believed that Mourinho is the driving force behind signing the Colombian.
The 29-year-old is currently on international duty with Colombia in the Copa America. He was asked if reports of him joining Chelsea are true, he had this to say.“It can be, you will know soon,” Falcao said with a smile.“I’m just thinking of the Copa America and the squad. My staff are taking care of this.”

Though Arsenal suffered the worst start to their EPL campaign in 30 years, failing horrendously to mount a credible title challenge, they finished third which is an improvement from their constant fourth position.

“We had bad luck with injuries this season,” he is quoted as saying by Kicker. “But next season we can win the Premier
League and go further in the Champions League.”
